A brilliant little survivor from the early 1980s.

This 1980 Suzuki DS80 is an increasingly rare lightweight trail bike that has survived in original, unrestored condition.

It starts and rides well and is great fun exactly as it is, or would make a fantastic little project for somebody wanting to carry out a full restoration.

ORIGINAL & UNRESTORED

The real appeal of this DS80 is that nobody has already restored the character out of it.

It remains an honest, original little bike showing the marks and patina you would expect from a machine that's now over 45 years old.

For us, that's part of its charm.

You could simply enjoy it as an old-school fun bike, sympathetically improve it over time or strip it down and turn it into a really lovely full restoration.

At its heart is Suzuki's 79cc air-cooled two-stroke single-cylinder engine.

Lightweight, simple and uncomplicated, the DS80 comes from an era when a small trail bike was all about getting on, learning to ride and having fun.

No electronics. No riding modes. No complications.

Just a tiny two-stroke Suzuki and somewhere to ride it.
