95 BHP. 799CC PARALLEL TWIN.

At its heart is a 799cc liquid-cooled DOHC parallel-twin engine, producing 95 bhp / 71kW at 9,000rpm and 80Nm of torque at 7,500rpm.

Bosch EFI provides precise fuelling, while a slipper clutch and traction control add everyday usability.

There’s plenty of performance for fast road riding, but it’s the combination of that power with the bike’s exceptionally low weight that makes the 800X Rally particularly interesting.

JUST 176 KG KERB WEIGHT

This is the number that changes everything.

The Kove 800X Rally weighs approximately 176 kg in kerb specification with 5 litres of fuel, with a quoted dry weight of approximately 165 kg.

For a 95 bhp, 799cc twin-cylinder adventure motorcycle, that’s exceptionally light.

Less mass means easier direction changes, less effort in difficult terrain and considerably less motorcycle to wrestle with when things don’t go according to plan.

It should feel much closer to a large enduro motorcycle than a traditional heavyweight adventure bike.

SERIOUS RALLY SUSPENSION

Up front is a 49mm fully adjustable USD fork with 270mm of travel, specifically tuned for the 800X Rally.

At the rear is a linkage-equipped piggyback shock offering 240mm of travel, with extensive adjustment.

The suspension setup has been developed with input from the Kove Rally Team.

Combined with 293mm of ground clearance, this isn’t simply adventure-bike styling.

PROPER 21"/18" OFF-ROAD WHEELS

The 800X Rally runs a proper rally/enduro wheel combination with a 90/90-21 front and 140/80-18 rear.

Heavy-duty spoked wheels use conventional tubes and can accommodate UHD tubes or mousses for more serious off-road use.

CNC billet aluminium hubs, billet triple clamps and titanium alloy footpegs underline just how seriously Kove has approached weight reduction and off-road durability.

20-LITRE LONG-RANGE FUEL TANK

A 20-litre fuel capacity gives the 800X Rally genuine long-distance potential.

The fuel is carried low in the motorcycle to help keep the centre of gravity down and minimise the effect a full tank has on handling.

Kove quotes a potential range of up to approximately 250 miles, depending on riding conditions.
